I was very nervous for this visit because I knew I hadn't been the best about dental care. Dr. Hicks, Jen, and Paula were amazing. Paula was very reassuring and the most kind. She called to check on me after my appointment to make sure I was okay. HIGHLY recommend this office for anyone who is nervous at all about the dentist!

I am not a fan of dentists. However, Dr. Hicks is great! He is gentle and takes time during appointment to thoroughly explain everything. His staff is friendly and courteous. No upsale pressures here like your on a used car lot like some dental practices. Although they do not take insurance, they will bill your insurance for you. Service pricing seems fair and typically just above insurance “reasonable and customary “ amounts. Im willing to pay a bit more because I don’t feel they try and talk you into any unnecessary services or treatments. Integrity is everything here. If you have been searching like I did for a great dentist, this is your place.

I'm always treated with excellent care and understanding with each and every visit I have. Lori is fantastic genuinely cares about how you are feeling. Dr. Hicks and his entire team really know how to treat their patients, I always leave there feeling uplifted. I never have any doubts that my teeth are getting the care and treatment they may need. Excellent work!!!

Dr Hicks is the kindness and most considerate dentist that I've ever met. Top notch techniques that are new to me and the staff reciprocates Dr Hicks demeanor. I feel truly blessed that I found this office and dentist (angel) . I can smile once again! Thank yous just don't express my gratitude as much as I wish. If you need a great dentist, stop here. This is it! He's your answer. Currently I am undergoing full lower permanent denture procedures. The precision is mind blowing as well as the patience of Dr Hicks and his state of the art . I can't imagine trusting anyone else to create a brand new permanent bite in my mouth. I have been supplied with temporary permanent dentures allowing me to eat and smile. Everyone here is so friendly. I love the Christian music. It’s very relaxing. I used to dread going to the dentist but not since I started coming here! It’s a much better experience at Hicks! The dental hygienist Julia is who I normally have. She is very kind and knowledgeable. The whole process of the appointment, x-rays, cleaning, etc. is very thorough but doesn’t take terribly long either. I’m always very pleased with my visits and no longer have anxiety when going to the dentist.

Something I look for when walking into a new place is what’s the feel of the room? How does the front reception desk approach me and how do they treat me during checking out. Dr. Hick’s staff at the front knocked it out of the park! They greeted me with a warm pleasant welcome accompanied by smiles and good vibes! One of the ladies remembered my voice from the phone and said hello to me, the other lady struck up a great conversation with me. They were amazing. Then Julia came up to get me. She was hands down the best (I hope I’m not butchering her title) dental hygienist I’ve ever had. She was extremely friendly, super knowledgeable, kind, knew what she was doing, I could go on forever. Dr. Hicks and his team have the best technology and while some people may go I don’t care about that I want to get in and get out, the tools and tech they have/use will blow your mind. You’ll like that gear when it saves your teeth another 30 years. Dr. Hick - you have an amazing, friendly, knowledgeable team. You yourself made me feel great and I feel very comfortable knowing my chompers are in good hands. Most importantly Dr. Hick and his team…they just got it. They have it down. It’s smooth, easy, professional, welcoming, you name it. They are amazing.

From the moment you walk in you feel welcomed, they genuinely care about you and how you feel. The entire team works like a well oiled machine, and will do whatever it takes to be sure you are comfortable in every way possible during your treatment. I'm three quarters of the way through orthodontic treatment with invisalign and I am ecstatic about my results. Fantastic Care!!!!!

Dr. Hicks and his team are always putting the patience care first. They are very considerate with your feelings and always try to make your experience a pleasant one. No one enjoys going to the dentist but when you have a place you can go and have complete trust in what they are doing you can't ask for more than that.

Today was my first visit to Hicks Family Dentistry. We have been trying to find a new dentist closer to home. Our experiences with another local office were less than ideal, so we decided to try Dr. Hicks. From Sherry who answered my call to Lori who performed my initial evaluation, the experience was friendly and thorough. Unlike the other local office, everyone communicated effectively, and I felt informed and comfortable. Their use of technology was very impressive and helped the communication piece because I could see everything they were describing. Happy to say that I’ve found my new dentist!

Nice group of people at this office. Very different experience for me as this place uses very new “tools of the trade”. Scanning my teeth and gums the way you would print a copy on your home printer was one of the quite interesting ( and painless) procedures that give you and your dentist a good look and a record of where things are now. First visit for me means good start. Looking forward to other positive experiences. Only time will tell.

The cleaning went well. When I was checking out I was told I needed to come back for some gum work. Since I wasn’t sure what this was for I called the office when I got home and they told me it was certain parts of my gums that needed attention. It would’ve been good if I had known it before I left the office and if I have any questions, I could’ve talked with someone.

Doctor Hicks is an amazing Dentist but he is so much more. Gentle, caring, kind, compassionate …. Just to name a few adjectives that describe him. He is very compassionate to your pain and manages it incredibly well. He also understands and is able to manage the anxiety most of us feel from past negative experiences with the dentist of old. He is incredible with the aesthetics and makes you teeth look more amazing than you ever thought they would ever appear! His staff is top shelf. They are all knowledgeable, friendly, caring and professional. I have been going to Dr Hicks for about 15 years now. I went to him with dental disfigurement from another dentist. I was in bad shape. I thought I would never be able to smile again. I now get compliments on my smile from perfect strangers! Every bit of that happiness can be attributed to Dr Kevin Hicks. I am so grateful!

Hicks Family Dentist is the best dental practce that I have EVER been to! From the moment that you walk in the door, Jenn, the receptionist makes you feel comfortable through her warm and inviting personality! All of the staff have been outstanding as well! Julia, my dental hygienist was extremely capable, thorough and very considerate through my dental cleaning. She was very conscientious about my pain tolerance! Dr. Hicks is excellent! He is very thorough and he too wants to make certain that his patients are comfortable and have all of the information that is required for them to make informed decisions in relation to their dental health plans! I am so happy that I was encouraged to attend this practice.....this is an outstanding dental office where I can leave any fear at the door! Thank you for your wonderful service....

As always, Dr Hicks is the only dentist I will ever trust to touch my dental needs. State of the art, high tech and futuristic in applying the most current tests, procedures, and solutions. The staff is equally courteous as well as gentle and continually impress me with their knowledge and experience. I am getting full lower permanent implants and can't wait to share the finished project once complete. Look no further, this is the only practice worth your money and time....,and smile. I am so happy to have found a dental practice where I can place my trust which has been so battered. I immediately went home to encourage my husband to considering changing his dentist. I was made to feel comfortable from the moment I entered the front door to the discussion of my dental plan. More work to come but at least my fear level is much reduced; Dr. Hicks and his team are truly professionals and kind people!!

Dr Hicks is not only the best Dentist, he is a good Christian man. I have been to many Dentists in my 80 years on this earth and I have found no one better. No pain or problems. His staff are the best people you could find. They are bright and caring. God has put them together to care for all humans who who enter this fine practice

The entire staff is very welcoming and efficient~ In the past, I had hygienists that were a little to rough when cleaning my teeth leaving my gums sore for a few days. That was not the case at this practice. Also, Dr. Hicks did a great job giving the injection before removing an old filling. The replacement, which I believe was porcelain, was done in-house so there was no need for a return visit. I highly recommend this dental practice..

Met with smiling kind staff the moment walked in the door. I appreciated the back round christian contemporary music being played. Sets the stage for a calm and decreasing anxiety visit. I have complete trust in Dr. Hicks abilities and decisions as a dentist. Thank You so much for bringing confidence back into my smile and my teeth feeling better than they felt in years.

New tech innovations are embraced here, the staff is friendly and professional & there was genuine effort to offer fair options with regard to payment, for me, a senior on a fixed income, who decided a while ago that since dental insurance does not cover my most costly needs it's less of a burden to skip same and pay out of pocket. All in all, a GOOD experience. 5 out of 5 stars!

Amazing place from the front desk staff to the hygienist!! Dr.K. Is fabulous his office is truly a family atmosphere from the moment you walk in the front door! They have all new state of the art equipment to make it easier to to see everything in clearer way in your mouth. Dr K is very knowledgeable friendly and caring!

Just Fine..... normally a dental appointment is a nerve racking, nail biting experience. Not so at Hicks. It is comfortable, and surroundings pleasant, with smiling faces. Your blood pressure is lower immediately. No need to expound...Good experience as dentists go. When you enter Jennifer is there to greet you with a smile.

Dr Hicks and staff.. Jenn.. Esmae.. Lori.. and others are the best.. they are caring and very attentive to the patient. Dr Hicks is gentle. After a few years of contemplating, I decided to get invisaligns and at 65 years old.. I just wanted my teeth straight.. and Dr. Hicks is doing a super great job with helping me get there. Kudos to Dr. Hicks and his staff😊

It’s always a pleasant experience to have an appointment with Hicks Family Dentistry. The staff is so welcoming and caring. Dr. Hicks and every single member of his staff are the kindest, most helpful and compassionate people I have ever met! I was terrified of Dentists before Dr Hicks. He has the most current technology and is educated in the latest and least painful dentistry. The dental hygienist was one of the most knowledgeable and skilled whom I have encountered. I heartily recommend Hick Family Dentistry. They have given often complicated treatment of implants, crowns, and gum health. Dr. Hicks has state-of-the art imaging equipment for diagnosis and treatment. One feels confident that Dr. Hicks and his highly trained crew are among the very best. Jen, the receptionist, is always courteous, friendly and efficient.

I have DREADED going to the dentist my entire life! This staff changed that for me. I almost look forward to going now. Ok, maybe that's stretching it just a bit :), but no panic attacks anymore on the drive there! The staff at Hicks is super friendly and gracious and kind and most of all...encouraging! Great dentist! I went in for the first time this morning because I needed a crown reattached. Everyone at the office was so kind - on the phone and in person. I had my two young daughters with me since it was a short notice appointment and they were so thoughtful and sweet to them! Thank you to Lorrie, Jen and Dr. Hicks for a great new patient appointment - I’ll definitely be back!

I was cheerfully greeted by name when I arrived at the office. They were ready for my appointment to start as soon as I got there, and I was almost 10 minutes early. My hygienist, Jess, was very polite and knowledgeable. Jess provided me with information on how to best take care of my teeth between appointments. I was able to schedule my next appointment while I was there too.

I am so grateful for the wonderful experience that I had at Hicks Family Dentistry! I was so nervous for my first appt but the entire staff made me feel so comfortable from the minute I walked in the door! Least uncomfortable cleaning ever, and I thought my previous hygienist, in a different practice, was good. If I have to choose between competence and personality, I will choose competence, of course, but I prefer having both in a doctor or dentist. I like medical professionals who genuinely seem to care and with whom I can joke. In the past I have actually switched doctors because of a seeming lack of caring and humor. I don't think this will be the case with Dr. Hicks.

I’ve only been a patient at Hicks Family Dentistry for a little bit now, but I can absolutely say that everyone that works there, are some of the nicest people you could ever meet. They always make you feel so welcome and will always greet you by your name the second you walk in the door! Always a pleasure!

This was my first time having a cleaning at Hick’s Family Dentistry. I always get nervous before a cleaning and it’s been a while since I’ve been! They were absolutely amazing. So gentle and very caring. I was almost in a state of relaxation getting my teeth cleaned! I joked with the hygienist and said it was like a trip to the spa! They took x-rays, measured my gums, and cleaned. Everything was very present. Highly recommend and my husband is going to switch his dentist to here! By far best trip to the dentist I’ve had.

My journey with Dr. Hick and his crew has been a life changing one. They are a beautiful group of people to be around. Always made me feel welcome. They are warm and friendly. And Dr.Hick himself is a very kind, soft spoken man that really cares about the person. I’m thankful for his kindness and his compassion.

I am a student doing my externship there! They are fabulous, fun, caring and kind. They care about their patients and their dental health. Dr. Hicks is very knowledgeable and gentle and he is a Jack of all trades. He knows his stuff. He does root canal, crowns, dentures, ortho braces, invisalign, teeth whitening and more. His staff are exceptional people.

The team at Dr Hicks practice is among the best that I’ve ever encountered. I’m not a fan of going to the dentist but they’ve mad me a convert. I initially went to Dr Hicks because he was an in network provider of my insurance. He no longer is so that’s a bummer for me!! Overall I would give them an 4.5 stars. If they didn’t drop my insurance I’d give them 5 stars

Seeing a dentist will always conger up words like pain, & suffering. But not here at Hicks Dentistry. it truly is a pleasant and pleasurable experience. I find it to be comfortable and easy. From the minute you walk in and see Jennifer smiling you know you're in good hands. Next, appears a dental hygienist with a smile and an easy disposition to make you feel at home. You can't ask for a better experience when it comes to your dental health. Highly recommend it.

Summary: Welcoming environment, friendly people, transparent communication - Go here! My new patient experience with Hicks Family Dentisty was excellent from the time I called to make an appointment to when I had my exam. Jen at reception was great to talk to when I initially called to find out more information and to make an appointment. She was up front that they were not in my insurance network and was supportive when I said I was going to call a few other places first. Ultimately, my phone experience with Jen and the reviews online let me back to Hicks despite the insurance coverage. Alex was my hygienist - she was very competent and friendly, talked me through each step she was doing, and asked several times throughout if I was comfortable. I’ve never felt so aware and at peace at a doctor’s visit! Dr. Hicks came in at the end to check my teeth and X-rays. He was also very friendly and first introduced himself and asked me some questions before getting started. He showed me my X-rays and talked through some observations that were helpful for me to be aware of. Overall, I had an excellent experience and would recommend Hicks Family Dentistry to anyone. The only down side personally is that they are not in my network, but I am going to make it work!

Hicks Family Dentistry is the best dentist experience that I've ever had. They do a great job cleaning and it is quick and painless. I don't like to go to the dentist but they make the experience very pleasant. I highly recommend them. My wife goes there now as well and she had the same experience.

I recently moved to Lititz and need a dental practice for my wife and me. I had my first visit today. From beginning to end, the Hicks practice is first rate. Clean and comfortable waiting room, Jen the receptionist is friendly and competent, Alex, my hygienist was engaged and thorough. Their equipment and dental processes are modern and up to date. Dr. Hicks was professional and listening. We look forward to our continued care.

Amazing service! Everyone I've interacted with at Dr. Hicks' office — from the office manager to the hygienists to Dr. Hicks himself — have been incredibly sweet, friendly, and informative. They're always very clear about what you can expect from your visit and post-care experience, and they'll take the time to explain the billing/insurance reimbursement process if you're confused about it. When I switched jobs, the office manager even worked with me to reschedule my appointments so my new insurance would cover the visit. Highly recommend!

Today I had my first visit as a new patient to the practice and was beyond impressed! Everyone that I had an encounter with (Jen, Alex, Dr. Hicks), was extremely friendly, attentive & thorough. My experience was great from start to finish. Jen does such a great job at the front desk. She is friendly and efficient. I’m not especially fond of getting my teeth cleaned but Alex was very gentle and did a thorough job. She is an awesome hygienist. Dr. Hicks is very kind and personable. #1 dental experience of my life! Jen (receptionist), is amazingly friendly and helpful. My hygienist was very thorough and knowledgeable about my teeth, mouth, jaw, nose, etc. Then Dr. Hicks spent a significant amount of time just getting to know me as a new patient. I got to do all of my paperwork electronically before I got there - huge time saver. If you are looking for professional excellence with personal touch, look no further!

I love everything and everyone at Hicks Family Dentistry .. I immediately felt at home there and cannot day how much I appreciate their team .. Professional , but fun to talk to .. I needed a tooth pulled and it was a big one and honestly, I has very , very , little uncomfortableness .. he’s an expert and not make me feel uncomfortable about missing a few years of seeing a dentist.. As usual, this practice is the best I have ever been to. Jen and Nichole are the best people ever. Jen always greets me with a smile and welcomes me to the practice. In the past I have had bad experience after bad experience with different dentist. After my first visit with Dr. Hicks and the rest of the staff; I love going to the dentist. The staff are wonderful people who explain things to my understanding and are very comforting. Dr. Hicks is very nice and soft spoken. He is also very gentle and understanding of his patients. I love everyone at Dr. Hicks office.

I had a crown replaced by Dr Hicks and his team recently. I've had several crowns in the past from several other dentists. Dr Hicks was the most thorough making sure that my bite is comfortable and correct. It's been hard for me in the past to determine if my bite is correct while my mouth is still numb from anesthesia and my jaw is stiff from holding my mouth open for so long. Dr Hicks used a variety of techniques and extra time to make sure things were as they should be. Feels wonderful and the crown looks great! And the single appointment experience for the whole process is terrific!

Who can say they enjoy going to the dentist? But, if you have to go, this is the best place for kindness, consideration, and excellence in dentistry. They have been taking Co-Vid seriously, so you can feel totally comfortable going to their office. Their office is meticulous with the latest technology. Dr Hicks has a wonderful way of doing dentistry. He approaches every aspect of caring for his patients with excellence! I have had multiple same day visit crowns and even as a dental professional myself, I can’t tell they are crowns! I have been going to Dr Hicks for over 5 yrs now. He literally saved my life. He found early stage cancer on my tongue that I never would have noticed until it was too late. He also found a lump that wasn’t visible 3 months ago which turned out to be a recurrence of the cancer. They have gone above and beyond to accommodate me for any problems I have (broken crown, cracked filing, etc). They always get me in right away and they have the most amazing staff, from their receptionist to their dental hygienists. They are all very friendly and genuinely care about their patients. They are professional, knowledgeable and always do a great job. They even worked with me when I lost my insurance and my new carrier didn’t participate with them. I can’t say enough good things about them or recommend them highly enough! I love it there and I wouldn’t ever think about going somewhere else!

My hygienist, Alex, was so wonderful! She is so thorough and gentle, I know I am getting a great cleaning when I am with her. The entire staff is so friendly and makes you feel so welcome. Dr. Hicks always takes the time to listen and address my concerns compassionately . Combined with his super technology, I can safely say this is my forever dental home! I cannot recommend this practice enough!

Another great visit to Dr. Hicks today. This time I needed a crown replaced. The staff welcomed me and made me very comfortable. Don’t ever fear getting Novocaine, Dr Hicks always does mine with no pain ! The procedure was easy & I waited a short time to have my crown made. One stop got it all done. Dr Hicks dental office is the best practice I have ever been too.

I’ve been a patient at Dr. Hicks’ office for over 7 years and I have never been disappointed in the care, cost or professionalism. His office offers the latest dental technology. Dr. Hicks is courteous and caring and he and all of his staff are incredibly well-trained. I drive 30 minutes out of my way just to go to his office and will continue to do so.

Friendly staff, very professional, always on time.. the fact that they can do everything in Office is a big plus. Dr. Hicks is very talented when it pertains to the health care of your Teeth. Everything is done within his office, so if you need a crown for instance it’s made In house etc. The fact that he has all of the updated equipment is a big factor for me.

It starts right at the door. The receptionist, Jen, greets you by name and is the friendliest person and willing to help with any questions. The hygienists all seem so calm and knowledgeable and they are GREAT with our young kids. Dr Hicks will also greet you with a smile and by name. He is so down to earth and runs a great office. This place is so clean and state of the art. I truly have never been so impressed with a dentist office for crying out loud. I have been telling all of my family and friends about it!!

Friendly, courteous and most professional staff. They go above and beyond to remind you about any upcoming appointments. When you visit their office, you seldom have to wait for than a few minutes. And, when experiencing their services, you're treated with care and concern. All together, they are a terrific group of great people.

Dr. Hicks and his staff are the best of the best! He has replaced several ancient, broken-down fillings with beautiful new onlays without even a twinge of discomfort. He squeezed into our appointment repairing a tooth I'd just chipped very efficiently and reasonably. While taking state-of-the-art care of your teeth, Dr. Hicks, Jen up front, and the whole staff also show care for you as a person. And he takes insurance! You won't be disappointed.

I personally am not sure how to enunciate the treatment I received from this office of fine people. True professionalism, courtesy and sympathy to my particular situation. I travel extensively for work, for the one day I was actually home no local dentist would see me, including my own (now former dentist). While in Lititz Pa for work I was experiencing indescribable pain with the one and only cavity I have. Randomly popped into Dr. Hick's office and a very polite not to mention adorable receptionist/hygienist made time for me, took quick x-ray and Dr. Hick's came to see me. To me this is enough said, considering the fact that I couldn't even speak to my former dentist. Not only did they schedule me for a much needed root canal but it was done in a timely manner. I don't know much about this procedure being that this is my one and only cavity but I do know about hard work. This man went to work on my tooth, I know with the utmost certainty that he did a thorough, proper, quality, efficient, and effective job. Felt so much better. His entire staff worked as hard as he did, they were a pleasure to deal with and I will be going back from now on if possible. I live approx. two hours south of Lititz but to find the right man for the job two hours seems minimal and Dr. Hicks is the right man for the job. Thank you Hicks family Dentistry!

We've been going to Dr. Hicks for about 7 years or so and for the most part they were good, friendly, cleaned our teeth well, but whenever there was an issue with a tooth Dr. Hicks worked on he could never give a clear answer and just left us hanging. I had an implant done here and it got infected. The x-rays showed bacteria was starting to eat away at my bone and they didn't inform me about it or how I could take preventative steps until a year later when it ate about 40% of my bone and I couldn't save it. The dental hygienist at the time informed me more about the issue than Dr. Hicks did. Besides being a nice guy he just doesn't give you the answers you need to be able to take the next steps and he seems hesitant when making decisions. Not sure if I can stick with that kind of dental care any longer.

Just had my pinhole gum rejuvenation procedure this morning. Dr. Hicks did an awesome job. The procedure was not painful at all and I'm in no pain now hours after. I'm so excited to heal and see my results. I really appreciated that Dr hicks took time out of his night to call and ask me how I am feeling.

Dr. Hicks and his staff not only do a great job, he embraces cutting edge technology allowing for faster treatment with less pain. I was blown away by the advances in dentistry that he and his staff use. If you are looking for your first dental office or are looking to change dentists look no further.

Jus to to visit with Dr Hicks, this guy is great, everyone was very knowledgeable and able to plainly answer all the questions I had. Even though he's a little more expensive than I had expected the quality of his work is worth the extra. They have all the latest equipment allowing them to make crowns and partials right in the lab during your visit. My cleaning was painless and they clearly explained how to better care for my teeth. Highly recommended!

Once i stepped in the office of Dr. Hicks dental office, it was instantly a very great atmosphere. In the waiting room i could relax with coffee and tea, or read a book or a magazine while i waited to get my work done. the service was great, everyone was very friendly while i was there. The operatory was very clean and a very unique style office (that was a good thing!). but overall great atmosphere, amazing service done, and a place i felt comfortable at! Dr.Hicks is a one a kind Dentist, He is gentle, agreeable, and intellegent! love the office!

This is truly one of the most beautifully decorated, comfortable, IMPECCABLY CLEAN, up-to-date dental practices I've ever seen. The doctor is gentle and caring and takes TIME with you, never seeming rushed or hurried. You just don't find that anymore! Dr. Hicks is an amazingly talented dentist and his hygienist, Chantal is a pleasure and a joy. I'd recommend this first rate practice to anyone who is looking for a warm comfortable, high quality dental home.
